One-of-its-Kind · Mythological Storytelling in Embroidery

॥ वस्त्रे कथा ॥Vastre Katha — The Wearable EpicNew Bridal Collection · AW '26–27

Jalnagari Dwarka — from the Vastre Katha collection
She does not wear a lehenga.
She wears a story.

In India, textile was the first archive, and the body was the first gallery. Each वस्त्रे कथा piece carries one complete narrative — a myth, a verse, a sacred journey — drawn by hand, then embroidered into cloth that outlives the wedding day and becomes an heirloom.

What To Expect

Your 90 minutes, step by step

1

Welcome

Chai for the family, and a stylist who already knows your wedding dates and budget.

2

Consultation

We listen — the wedding, the venue light, the story you want your lehenga to tell.

3

Curated Try-Ons

A short, curated selection — not fifty pieces. The right five beat the random fifty.

4

A WNW Tradition

माँ की ममता का पहला धागा

The first thread of a mother's love
A mother places the first thread in her daughter's bridal lehenga at WNW

At WNW, every bridal lehenga begins with a ritual we hold sacred. Before our karigars begin their ninety days of work, the bride's mother places the पहला धागा — the very first stitch — into her daughter's lehenga with her own hands.

Months of karigari follow. But the first thread is always ममता.

Plan Backwards From Your Muhurat

Your wedding date sets the clock

Every WNW lehenga is made once, for one bride — 90 days of hand embroidery by our karigars. Booking early is not a sales line; it is how the craft works.

120

Days before the wedding — visit the studio, meet your stylist, finalise the design.

90

Days of karigari — your piece is embroidered by hand, panel by panel.

15

Days before — final trial, draping and finishing to your measurements alone.

Marrying in the Nov–Dec 2026 muhurats? Your appointment window is now — mid-September.
A Jan–Feb 2027 bride? Yours is September – October. Later muhurats — we will map your timeline at the studio.

Bridal appointment FAQs

How early should I book before my wedding?

Ideally 4 months before your wedding date — every piece takes 90 days of hand embroidery, plus time for your trial and finishing. Wedding sooner? Message us on WhatsApp; we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Who should I bring along?

Whoever's blessing matters — most brides come with their mother, and often mother-in-law, sisters and bhabhis. We have seating and chai for the whole family.

What is the price range?

Bespoke bridal lehengas begin at ₹2 lakh, with most brides investing ₹2–5 lakh. Trousseau and family outfits are styled alongside, within your stated budget.

What happens after I submit the form?

Our bridal team personally confirms your slot on WhatsApp within 2 working hours (Mon–Sat, 10:30 am – 7:30 pm). Nothing is final until you have a confirmation from us.

Can I visit the Delhi studio instead?

Yes — we are at Pitampura and Chandni Chowk in Delhi. Many Delhi brides later visit the Kolkata flagship for the fullest range; your stylist will guide you. Mention Delhi in the form or on WhatsApp.
